Tehya Frank develops critically cohesive, structured narratives to help clients engage stakeholders effectively, ensuring long-term impact. With a focus on healthcare development, entertainment, and public affairs, she has played a leading role in shaping messaging strategies for major organizations and international initiatives.
A strong foundation in the non-profit sector laid the groundwork for her career. At International Medical Corps and Global Green USA, she worked in partnerships and engagement efforts. In response to Hurricane Sandy, she co-founded theYaSisters, a platform empowering young people to take action—an initiative that later expanded to include relief efforts after the Woolsey Fires and in communities across New York City and Los Angeles. Through campaigns like #MakeInvisibleVisible, featuring celebrities and young advocates, theYaSisters raised awareness for invisible chronic illnesses and funded direct care coverage for those affected (more here).
Her own experiences have positioned her as a featured contributor to Thrive Global and Byrdie, where she writes on topics ranging from Lyme disease and autoimmune conditions to the intersection of wellness, media, and public perceptions. In 2024, she played a role in RFK Jr.’s presidential campaign, focusing on health policy, integrative medicine, and messaging coordination. As part of her work, she facilitated preliminary interagency discussions and aligned health policy goalposts.
Tehya holds a BA from New York University in Health Policy Analysis & Medical Journalism, with an emphasis on preventative care and food security; She has a minor in Middle Eastern Religion. She also pursued a master’s degree in health policy Analysis, with a specialization in autoimmune conditions, vector-borne illnesses [specifically Lyme Disease], and the study of inflammation at the Wagner School at NYU.
Her client list has ranged from the largest music festival in the MENA region, to the biggest hospital complex in the United States, gigaprojects in Saudi Arabia, individual C-suite executive thought leadership strategic programs, and 501c3 build-outs. Her extensive background in policy, communications, and advocacy, coupled with her ability to navigate geopolitical and media landscapes, makes Tehya a strategic force in shaping the future of health policy and public discourse.
