ERIC ANDRUS

Eric is a senior strategic communications strategist with more than three decades of experience advising senior executives and boards on a range of critical reputational, financial communications, and positioning issues. He brings a keen ability to anticipate how traditional and digital media and other key external and internal stakeholders may react to an enterprise’s words and actions.

He is adept at developing effective crisis management/preparedness, reputation management, litigation support, and public policy strategies for corporate, government and non-profit leaders. Clients have also turned to Eric for strategic direction and counsel around global financial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings and bankruptcies, proxy fights, and IPOs.

Eric previously served as a partner at Finsbury Glover Hering (formerly Robinson Lerer & Montgomery), where he helped Fortune 500 clients navigate complex changes and challenges. During the Clinton Administration he was appointed to two senior communications roles. Eric also held communications leadership positions with national, state and local political campaigns, including Joseph Biden’s first run for president. Earlier in his career, he worked at two New York City economic development agencies.

A long-standing member of the Board of United Neighborhood Houses, Eric graduated from Emerson College (BS, Mass Communication). He lives in New York City with his wife and two children.
